Ernest W. Jones was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1910s and '20s who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Rochdale Hornets, playing at Stand-off/Five-eighth, i.e. number 6.

International honours

Ernest W. Jones won caps for England while at Rochdale in 1913 against Wales, in 1914 against Wales, and won caps for Great Britain while at Rochdale in 1920 against Australia, and New Zealand (3 matches).[1]
